Ari: I began my weight loss journey at 230 lbs in 2008, ready to make a change, but not wanting to drastically give up everything setting myself up to fail. I had never learned healthy eating habits and wasn't quite sure what it meant to cook healthily (or to be honest how to cook anything that didn't come from a box!) As I learned more about health, food and cooking, I learned that little changes make a big difference and that I could still eat all the foods I love, but enjoy them healthily by making adjustments. Now in 2011, I still wouldn't consider myself to be finished on my journey. I honestly don't believe there is a finish line, but as I continue to learn and enjoy preparing nutritious food, I also developed a love for sharing it. Enjoy! Have a recipe you want skinnified?
